IMPORTANT AUCTIONEER NOTE: Many of the assets being sold in this auction will require equipment and labor for removal. Surplus Alberta.com strongly encourages you to attend the October 6th inspection to make sure you have the capacity to remove any purchased items.

 

ONLINE BIDDING REGISTRATION

Online bidding to begin on October 1st, 2020.

INSPECTION: Tuesday, September 30th from 10 AM – 4 PM

Per the Government guidelines concerning COVID-19, we have instituted new inspection procedures.

1. Face Masks ARE MANDATORY, NO EXCEPTIONS!

2. All individuals who attend an inspection must be registered for the auction prior to entering the facility. No unregistered guests will be allowed entry.

3. Inspection time may be limited when traffic is heavy.

4. Auctioneer reserves the right to restrict the flow of traffic based upon the volume of attendees.

5. Additional restrictions and conditions may follow.

It is STRONGLY advised to inspect the items, in person, during the inspection period in order to validate the descriptions and/or photographs in the catalog. All items are located at the address above.

TERMS

All items must be paid for in full.  Major credit cards are accepted but will include a 3% convenience fee at checkout.

Immediately following the auction, Auctioneer will email each winning bidder an invoice. Payment will be accepted at above address from 9AM – 4 PM on Thursday, October 8th. Payment must be received no later than 4 PM on October 8th.

REMOVAL

Thursday, October 8th from 9 AM – 4 PM

Once full payment has been received, removal can begin. Successful bidders are responsible for the removal of all purchased items. Please do not assume there will be boxes, hand trucks or assistance with packing or loading. Failure to adhere to the posted times for removal, will incur additional expense.

Regardless of when you pick up your item(s), payment in full must be received by the times posted.

 

LEGAL CONTRACT

Your participation in our auction is your acknowledgement and acceptance of the terms and conditions presented here. Your failure to adhere to any of these terms and conditions may constitute a breach of contract and may cause irreparable harm to Surplus Alberta.com and/or our client. In this event, we and/or our client(s) may attempt to recover any financial or other damages by pursuing any action afforded by law.

SALES TAX: 5% GST is added to all SALES including Buyer’s Premiums. NO EXCEPTIONS

BUYER’S PREMIUM: There is a 15% Buyer’s Premium for this auction. Example: For a high bid of $100,000, a 15% buyer’s premium of $15,000 will be added making the purchase price $115,000.

WARRANTY

All items are being sold “AS IS, WHERE IS” with no warranties expressed or implied. Buyers should carefully verify all items and make their own decision as to the accuracy thereof before relying on the same. Items may be added or deleted without notice. All items subject to prior sale. Online bid increments are at Auctioneer’s discretion. All sales are final.

  1. ALL ITEMS SOLD AS IS WHERE IS, You are able to inspect items on the preview viewing day, which is Tuesdays from 11am to 3pm at Alberta Surplus.com “Unit G” 7803 35th Street SE, Calgary, Alberta. Please CALL US AT 587-Alberta (252-3782) FOR DETAILS.

2. Payment must be made in full before NOON the DAY Preceding the Auction. UNLESS PREARRANGED, PAYMENT WILL BE PROCESSED USING THE CREDIT CARD SUPPLIED UPON REGISTRATION THE NEXT DAY.

  1. ALL ITEMS MUST BE PICKED UP WITHIN 3 BUSINESS DAYS OF AUCTIONS CLOSE.   ALL ITEMS MUST BE REMOVED Between 9am and 4PM on the Thursday, Friday, or between 10am and 1pm on Saturday following the Auction. Shipping is available for a $10 Handling fee plus cost of freight.  Smaller items can be combined into one package to save on freight charges.

4. A 15% buyers premium will be charged on all ONLINE auction sales PLUS 5% GST.

5. In the even of any dispute, the auctioneer shall have final sale in all matters

6. All items not picked up before the removal deadline ( Wednesday following the auction) are subject to a $20.00 per day storage charge. All goods not removed by the Wednesdays Deadline will be sold and refunds will not be issued.
